I have screened my performers so I know their skill level. By cold calling a performer , you only have their word that they are good.

I require my performers to be insured, to look neat and clean, and do not smoke or drink before or during a gig.

I send contracts to clients and performers so everyone knows what is expected.

IN EMERGENCY if a performer cannot not make a gig, I have more chance of finding a last minute replacement because of my large network than an independent performer.
